Next Steps

Three ways people go deeper here. What each one is, and who to ask.

D-Groups

A small group, every week

Prayer, going through Scripture together in a Bible study, and time spent in fellowship.

A D-Group is a handful of people who meet during the week to pray together, open the Bible together, and actually know each other. It is where growth happens for most of us, because it is small enough that you are not anonymous in it.

The point is relationships that go deeper than a Sunday handshake. People you are genuinely invested in, and who are invested in you.

Groups are assigned rather than picked, so you are placed somewhere you will fit instead of having to find your own way in. You do not need to know the Bible, and you do not need to have been here long.

Pastor Curtis handles D-Groups. He can tell you when and where your group would meet, and answer anything else.

Membership

Making it official

A class, and a conversation.

Membership is for people who have been around a while and have decided this is their church, not just the church they attend.

There is a class that walks through what we believe and what it means to belong here, and a conversation with a pastor alongside it. That is the whole process.

You are welcome here long before you are a member. If you already know this is your church, this is the step that says so.

Pastor Curtis handles membership too. He can tell you when the next class runs.

Serving

Where the help goes

Most of what happens on a Sunday is somebody who decided to serve.

If you want to help, there is somewhere for you. These are the teams:

  • Media Team
  • Van Ministry
  • Children's Ministry
  • Nursery
  • Youth Ministry
  • Outreach
  • Hospitality
  • Welcome Team
  • Ushers
  • Prayer Partners
  • Worship Team
  • Announcements
  • Setup and Cleanup

Tell us which one you are drawn to, or tell us you have no idea and we will talk it through. From there it is a conversation with whoever leads that team.

Not sure which of these you are asking about? Ask anyway, and someone will point you the right way.
